Cookridge Garden Club

A friendly group of garden enthusiasts

“The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies, but never grows to the enduring happiness that the love of gardening gives.”
Gertrude Jekyll

Cookridge Garden Club

We are a friendly group which meet once a month, to hear speakers on a wide range of horticultural topics.

During each meeting, members have an opportunity to display flowers and plants they would like to share with other members. Similarly, there is an opportunity to bring along problem plants, and ask for advice – together with other general gardening problems and questions.

There is an annual show in September, for flowers, vegetables, baking and a wide range of handicrafts. Local schools are encouraged to make entries, both individually and as a group.

Please look at the Calendar of Events page for details of speakers and dates.

Upcoming Events

Club meets on monthly basis October-May with talks by guest speakers.

We also get together for Garden Visits in the summer.
