Delph Cottage Visit. June 2024.
19th June Delphinium Cottage Garden Methley
51 Newmarket Lane, Methley, Leeds, LS26 9DN. ( The white house halfway along the row ).
This promised to be a real treat as delphinium lover Colin Parton showed us around his nationally recognised collection of delphiniums. Mr Parton asked for donations to go to the local church and the garden on a 50/50 split. The trip was by car and the lovely afternoon ended with tea and cake provided by Colin’s daughter. To say the Delphinium Gardens were colourful is indeed an understatement. They were superb. The pictures below, taken by Webmaster Geoff Lawson, give a feel for how spectacular the Delphinium displays were.
