We warmly invite you to our next 2026 monthly talks
Our March meeting will take place on the 17th, as usual at Cookridge Village Hall, 7 pm for a 7.30 pm start. Our topic will be ‘Spring Flowers’ with Nigel Eaton who currently works at ‘Moss and Moor’ Garden centre near Ilkley and has had over forty years of experience in horticulture, including twenty years with the RHS.
Our April meeting will be on the 21st and its title will be ‘ ‘Winning Exhibits for the Club Show 2026. Guidance and Advice for Successful Showing.’ The speaker is yet to be announced. Our friends at Eldwick and Gilstead Horticultural Society will also be holding their March meeting on the 17th when Jonathan Moseley’s talk will be ‘Grow, Cut, Arrange.’
We have at least one summer event to look forward to: members Sandra Edwards and Sarah Pickersgill have kindly agreed to open their gardens for members to view on Tuesday June 23rd as part of our MEMBERS’ OPEN GARDENS EVENING which we organise each year. Further details will follow nearer the time but please put the date into your diaries straightaway.
All are welcome at our meetings and events so why not come along to the Cookridge Village Hall and see if it’s for you ? The doors will be open from shortly after 7.00.p.m. with the meeting due to begin at 7.30.p.m. We hope you can join us, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
