Annual Show 2023.

On the afternoon of Saturday 9th September we held our Annual show at the Cookridge Methodist Church Hall.

The show was well attended and the September heat wave ensured a bright sunny day with blue skies from start to finish. With many exhibits, a prize raffle, tombola, plant sale and refreshments there was something for everyone.

The show was open to members and non members alike and all were made very welcome. For those who attended ( and for that matter those who didn’t ) we hope very much to see you next year.

A big thank you to all who came along, a big welcome to the new members who joined the club during the afternoon and a big thank you to all the Committee members , friends , relatives and helpers without whose help the show wouldn’t have been possible.

Many thanks also to the Judges for all of their help and advice on the class entries and to David Allison FNVS for presenting the numerous trophies.

And finally thanks and congratulations to Denise Watson, Show Secretary, ably supported by new Club Chairwoman Ruth Straw, on a very successful first show for both.
