The Club
We are a friendly group who meet once a month, to hear speakers on a wide range of horticultural topics.
During each meeting, members have an opportunity to display flowers and plants they would like to share with other members. Similarly, there is an opportunity to bring along problem plants, and ask for advice – together with other general gardening problems and questions.
There is an annual show in September, for fruit, flowers, vegetables, baking and a wide range of art/handicraft/photography. Local schools are encouraged to make entries, both individually and as a group.
We meet in the main hall of the Cookridge Methodist Church, Otley Old Road, Cookridge at 7.30 pm, usually on the third Wednesday of each month, from October through until May of the following year.
If you would like to come to our meetings but have mobility problems you may wish to know that there is lift access to the hall from the car park which avoids the use of any stairs. If you need help please let a committee member know.
Please look at the calendar of events page for details of speakers and dates.
