PLANT and PRODUCE SALE. ( In lieu of 2021 Cookridge Garden Club Annual Show).

For precautionary and health and safety reasons the decision has  been taken that there will not now be an Annual Show on 11th September.

However we are very pleased to be able to announce that plans are now complete for a PLANT AND PRODUCE SALE to be held outdoors in the Cookridge Methodist Church Car Park on 11th September from 1.00.p.m. through to 3.00.p.m.

The plan is that there will be 8 tables laid  along the outside of the church  in the L shape of the church building. Stalls will include plants, garden tools, fruit, flowers and vegetables. Hopefully we will also be able to include within the eight stalls a stall selling greetings cards and another for chutneys, jams etc.

There will be two hand sanitiser points and a small section of the car park may still be available for disabled parking. Please note though that the normal on-site general car parking will not be available.

Although perhaps not the show we had hoped and planned for this will still be worth a visit and we hope you will be able to join us on the day.

MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE:  Judging of members Chrysanthemums grown from the plugs we were given has now been deferred until the October meeting because of the late flowering of the plants.
