Spring is approaching and we look forward with anticipation to better weather and flourishing gardens. Wednesday 20th March brings the third of our monthly presentation series for 2024 when we  listen to David Matthewman’s talk on “Sweet Peas”. Arguably one of our most popular plants. David is one of the most knowledgeable people in the country on the rearing and growing of Sweet Peas. There is nothing that he doesn’t know about them. David worked all his working life as a gardener including many years at the famous Kew Gardens. Hopefully he will be bringing along some plants and seeds for sale.

Most of our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month, the exception being December when we meet on the second Wednesday of the month. The doors will be open from shortly after 7.00.p.m. with the meeting due to begin at 7.30.p.m.  We hope you can join us, and we look forward to seeing you then.

Please remember that the Church Hall does have a lift to take passengers from the car park to the Hall level.  So if you have mobility problems please don’t be put off. Just let a Committee member know that you will be coming and we will be pleased to have the lift ready and available for you to use.
