Hopefully the worst of winter will soon be over but on the evening of Wednesday 21st February we can look forward to a cosy evening in the Methodist Church Hall listening to John Smiles presentation on “Kitchen Vegetables”. John is Chairman of the National Vegetable Society and will talk about vegetables for our kitchens. He clearly is vey knowledgeable about the humble vegetables we grow and his talk will be full of useful information given with a degree of humour.

So please join us on the 21st to listen to what we are sure will be an interesting presentation.

Most of our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month, the exception being December when we meet on the second Wednesday of the month. The doors will be open from shortly after 7.00.p.m. with the meeting due to begin at 7.30.p.m.  We hope you can join us, and we look forward to seeing you then.

Please remember that the Church Hall does have a lift to take passengers from the car park to the Hall level.  So if you have mobility problems please don’t be put off. Just let a Committee member know that you will be coming and we will be pleased to have the lift ready and available for you to use.
